Educating in a spirit of audacity and hope

At Sacred Heart College Senior the enhancement of spirituality and the education in faith of the community is paramount.
This involves a concerted effort to derive a sense of community and a school culture where rituals and practices reflect and nurture Catholic faith and values in a Marist context.
This is developed through a coordination and development of faith formation programs for students, including the Year 12 Retreats and visiting speakers for Year 10 and Year 11.
Important occasions such as Feast Days are recognized throughout the year and meaningful liturgies are planned to celebrate these occasions. Students are involved in the planning and delivery of these liturgies.
Opportunities are provided for staff members to deepen their own faith through the provision of Staff Reflection Days throughout the year.
Success in the above endeavour involves working collaboratively with the Liturgy Coordinator and the Religious Education Coordinator to encourage students to develop and deepen their own faith. It is integral to the success of Sacred Heart College and its mission as a marist school.
