Complete the APPLICATION FORM, then fax the form with the latest school report (translated into English), and a letter showing the level of English competence achieved to Sacred Heart College Senior on +61 08 8350 2562.
English proficiency will be assessed by the SA Adelaide Language Centre and applicants will need to register a score of 5 to enter Year 10 or a score of 6 to enter Year 11 or Year 12. Applicants who do not meet the required English proficiency score will need to successfully complete a bridging course in English at the SA Adelaide Language Centre.
Following an assessment of the results, the School will fax/mail a LETTER OF OFFER which will outline the course details, list all fees involved (including enrolment fee, transport from the airport, language course (if required), tuition fee, Homestay bond and fees for two weeks Homestay accommodation, a Homestay Request form, Overseas Health Insurance and details of care arrangements. If the applicant is under 18 years of age, a guardianship letter signed by the school Principal will be included.
In order to formalise the enrolment, parents/guardians will need to lodge the required fees with Sacred Heart College Senior. Bank details will be included on the Letter of Offer.
When monies have been received, Sacred Heart College Senior will then send a RECEIPT and the Australian Government CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT FORM FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS which are needed to apply for a Visa.
Parents/guardian will need to forward the CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT FORM, RECEIPT and LETTER OF OFFER (including the guardianship letter) to the Australian Embassy in your capital city.
Documentation will need to be completed for a Visa. The Australian Embassy will begin Visa issue procedures after they have received all the relevant documentation and a medical examination has been undertaken. The Australian Embassy may require an interview.
Once the Visa has been issued and all relevant documentation is complete, the applicant is requested to notify Sacred Heart College Senior of the date of arrival so that they can be met at the airport.
